huf’al is the passive conjugation of hif’il. The binyan huf’al is little used in spoken Hebrew. However, you will find forms of huf’al in the press and literature, eg (of the hif’il-verb mekim – to erect):
מוזיאון לסרטים ישראליים יוקם במערב העיר |
muze’on le-sratim yisra’eli’im yukam be-ma’arav+ha’ir |
A museum for Israeli movies will be erected in the west of the city. |
